window of peace

Nikon D80 | 1/40 seconds | f 4.5 | ISO 160 | 38 mm

…paraphrasing charles’s simic statement about poetry I might add that photography can be also “an orphan of silence. The words never quite equal the experience behind them”

p.s. happy 10.000 views anniversary! thank you all for visiting my place..

Thank you all for your kind comments.

@Tudor: sometimes is good to be missed.

@Mihai: ma bucur ca te'ai regasit, sub o forma s'au alta, in fotografia mea. as vrea sa ma caracterizeze intotdeauna simplitatea si frumusetea, insa in realitate e mai greu. cu totii avem obiceiul de a ne complica uneori existenta.

Well seen and captured. Love the simplicity and how you've framed this with the two branches on either side.

The foliage and the flower box give this image the perfect splash of colour. The reflections in the window make one wonder not only what is going on inside, but what is being reflected out as well. Great work!

Frumos. imi aduce aminte de ferestrele de la tara, de la casa bunicilor. De cele mai multe ori simplitatea castiga!

Welcome back and happy anniversary.
Very colourful frame and the composition with the off-center window is good. We also like that you cropped out the top of the windot. Nice work.
