"An artist, in giving a concert, should not demand an entrance fee but should ask the public to pay, just before leaving as much as they like. From the sum he would be able to judge what the world thinks of him - and we would have fewer mediocre concerts."

That first plane and the Graffitti, contrast with the dulzura of the boy. beautiful resistances.
Greetings
bien capturado el momento y buen trabajo de procesado
no he is just darling!! and that precious look!! :) excellent motion in the graffiti as well as the long metal prods -- are they upside-down chairs? excellent!!!
thank you all for your kind comments.
@dj.tigersprout: no, actually they are nails. lots of nails :)
love the expression you captured here
what a contrast between the softness of the instrument and environment !!!
An emotional shot, intense concentration and very good point of vue.
Very nice !
le clou du spectacle! beau traitement pour une image pleine d'émotion
The contrast between this cute little boy with his violin and the environment et striking.
Well caught.
Love the innocence mixed with the urban graffiti.
This image says it all!!!
I love seeing children involved in music. What a nice capture and I love the processing.
He seems so small standing there against the wall and the upside down chairs. Well seen and emotive.
great story, love the contrast of fore- and background! sunny greetings
Love all these lines crossing !
He looks frightened, perhpas forced to do something he'd prefer not to, or not, we can imagine so much about this shot...
@ Jaol: oh, that was my first thought too, because his mother was in the back measuring his rhythm. but after i've observed the scene for several minutes i understood that it's all about concentration. to play in the street flawless can be a real challenge.
i'm sure he absolutely love what he was doing :)
Thank you all for stopping by :)
Love the expression of the boy! Very nice capture!
Very cool shot
superbe cliché ! premier plan, second et dernier bien réussi
Excellent shot . HIs face and graffiti in background are just super !
You really know how to put the portraits into perspective. Excellent angle.
What a lovely quote to go with this delightful shot. Love the graffiti bg! :)
So concentrated ! I like graffitis in the background, these lines in the foreground and cute child between. Well spotted !
Sweet expression of kidness.
Concentrated and attentive !
The talent isn't of age old to express himself !
You candid shots are amazing.
I like the colors and the way he looks

That reminds of the good ol' tradition of busking. I did that many years & I can tell you it's a long way to the top if you want to play some great oldtime music. But it's worth every street. All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
I like his expression and the depth of the picture.
love the desaturated look you've given this one. He looks a bit preoccupied, though still playing his fiddle.
I like the inclusion of the nails - shows determination and stamina to his art.
Wonderful image :-D
Very sharp, excellent shot!
Merci de ta visite . J'aime beaucoup tes photos et celle ci est magistrale , Phil.
Love this. What an unusual setting for this young musician.
Really love the tones in many of your images.

You're realy talented : Bravissimo !
The expression on the boy is priceless and the complex mix of shapes makes it very interesting. Always wonderful work. Peace, Glen
A image very tender here ! Good job !
Great imagery and words to accompany. Your work really inspires.
i wonder why he looks so desperate and scared?
maybe it is not him who wants to play the violin? :)
This has an attractive "busy"look about it without it being a cluttered composition. Well done!
I love his concentrated expression. Fine tones as well
Very nice framing.
Really interesting scene! The graffiti and the bed of nails make a really nice contrast with the kid and his violin.
Very cool portrait.
A very beautiful portrait.I like the colors also.
