at last... a taste of winter

Nikon D80 | 1/640 seconds | f 3.5 | ISO 800 | 18 mm

"Sometimes our fate resembles a fruit tree in winter. Who would think that those branches would turn green again and blossom, but we hope it, we know it."
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe [german playwrither, poet, novelist and dramatist. 1749-1832]

Oh, mi-e mila de rosia aia. Parca fotografia asta ii spune povestea.

@Nomade: thank you. actually is one of the few photos that i don't process at all.. and.. by the way.. where is the sun in your late entries? all i read about is depression. hope is a transitory mood :)

@Tudor: it was a representation, a figurative speech. i'm sure you got it, but you are a stubborn one, no? :)). anyway [hmm, strange we have the same twitches in writing] thanks for stopping by

Thanks Dennis. I like your writings, especially the last one. And when you think that i stumbled into your blog by chance :). You are most kind for wanting to add my blog into your blogroll and it's your decision.
Regarding the camera, Nikon D80, i'm sure that with just a little ambition you can fulfill it. I on the other hand dream at a Nikon700 and even higher D3x :)) this is likely to remain indeed just a dream :))

Wonderful picture and true words. After every rain there comes sunshine. Life is always a up and down.
I really like your work. Especially the portraits. I like taking snaps of people in everyday life.

I like winter's touch in this shot. We just surpassed the most snow in December in history for this town!
61.5 inches and more coming tonight. A normal winter here is around 40 inches. This too will melt and spring will come! (repeat 50 times) :-)

Love this photo! The last remnants of summer with Winter taking over. The tomato adds some great color to the photo as well!
